I am so thankful for Adele. She makes me believe in the music industry again. One of the few artists I’d pay a premium to see live.

Like him or hate him, I think Lyor Cohen is trying to do things the right way at Warner Music Group.

Right now, Warner is at the forefront of the major game. We do need entities to develop and promote music. The majors had a head start. Sony has squandered this advantage, Universal is a question mark. Will Warner win in the future?

Is bullying really that bad nowadays? Or are kids more sensitive and parents more overprotective?

I agree with Bob Lefsetz. He wrote that we need to see more of Lady GaGa the musician and less of Lady GaGa the performer. Her performance of “Hair” on Howard Stern is the perfect example. Stripped down to her voice and a piano, her talent shines.
